| john, USA | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I liked the ability to control the size of the virtual memory on the machine. It came in handy. I use Win98 on older computers.
| Vickie Held, US | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I started using Release RAM in March 2001 on my 7 year old 64MB Toshiba running Windows 98. Until this installation I experienced constant freezes and "blue screens of death". For 21/2 years, when I purchased a new computer, I maybe had problems a half a dozen times while running several memory intensive programs at the same time. I now have a HP Pavilion Windows XP with 512MB. I did not transfer RR at first, thinking that with this much memory it was not needed. I soon discovered that I was wrong. I installed RR on my new machine and instantly saw the difference. Great program, I wouldn't be without it. Thank You!
| Bob, USA | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I had problems with slow or lockup with my computer. I run multible applications and had craches, lock ups or slowed operation. I purchased Release Ram over the Internet and most of the problems were eliminated. The only problem I have is that I bought a new computer and transfered all my programs over but Release Ram no longer functions because I don't have a disk to set up the program. Technical help from the company is almost zero. So, the program is great but don't expect help if you have a problem with it!''Bob, we have the download links on our Release RAM homepage. You can download it there. Just contact us for new registration from our support page. - reply by Shaughn Prestidge''
| Mark Nielsen, U.S.A. | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I have a custom system running a 3.06 GHZ overclocked to 3.22 GHZ and I'm running 1.5GB of 1066 Rambus Ram,I have Windows XP Pro, I use Release Ram just before I play any games to free up any Ram I can, Thank You so very much. Mark Nielsen
| Sean L., USA | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Others have written about how well it works, so I will just say this. Practicality aside, it's simply fun watching the amount of available ram go up and down. Something to do while you are waiting for something to happen.
| Curt Dunmire, USA | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I've been using Release RAM for about 4 years (since late part of 1999 I believe) probably when it first came out and Jim Wilson over at JimWorld.com wrote about it in his newsletter. I downloaded, and used it. It keeps the computer from crashing a vast majority of the time which is caused from memory leaks. Without it, my computer would have crashed much more often because the OS doesn't always release the locked up RAM like it should. Release RAM does the job.
| Luke Pryor, Auckland, New Zealand | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I had an old Pentium Pro 200MMX with 48mb of EDO RAM. I was very surprised at how much RAM windows actually did chew up when loading my copy of Windows up. As soon as I tried out Release RAM, my overall performance improved heaps, and made my system a lot more stable than it was before. And that's no lie :)
| Harry Pickett | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | You are welcome to use me as a completly satisfied user of R-Ram as I think it's a great program! For the past 2 months I've been using a great little program, Release Ram that allows me to run many PC applications at one time without the dreaded "Out of Memory" message appearing.
| s&mAchine | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | This program works. It works much better than all the other ram cleaner. Highly recommended.
| Pat Willener | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | after installing IE5.5-SP1 I suffered severe memory shortages on my 64MB machines. Running R-RAM instantly cleared up all memory problems.
| Andrew (Doc Hollywood) Strong | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I've had no problems with my computer since I've used this small piece of software. In my opinion it has made the computer run more efficiently.
| LT | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Tried MemTurbo and it was of no use, but this program is great! I use it on Windows ME and it has greatly improved performance on my machine and I fully recommend this program. Give it a try.
| Jordan W. Whiley | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | When you're designing a web site, multitasking isn't optional - it's required. Until I purchased Release RAM, system crashes were an inevitable result. I never thought a piece of memory management software could do so much! This little gem is a "set it and forget it" utility that can be configured to automatically release valuable RAM whenever your available RAM drops below a certain amount. I've been using it since September 2000, and my system has crashed only twice in over 120 days of use. Now that's impressive!
| (Anonymous) | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I've been using Ram Booster for the longest time now. I started having problems with it, so I went and read some negative user reviews on it to see if anyone knew of a better program, and someone listed this. I LOVE it! The releasing ram before a certain porgram is launched feature is especially helpful (for programs like Photoshop).
| RW Sargent | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Thanks again for your speedy response. You've created a real neat utility. I've used 3-4 ram utilities and all they did was defrag(barely).Your program is the "KING"! It not only sweeps out your ram, but includes several other choices to optimize your system response and operation, and the price is right. Good luck! Sincerely, RW Sargent
