Find out more about Release RAM
| Kim Hollingshead, UK | Date Added: Jan-09-2004 | Since purchasing Release Ram I have never run out of memory for any application. I find it something of a comfort to see the RAM figure on my task bar and to know that I can rely on the program to ensure that sufficient RAM is always available, Equally, the facility to release RAM manually means that I am still in control. It's one of those rare programs - it actually works!
| Malcolm Bain, Thailand | Date Added: Jan-09-2004 | I have now used ReleaseRam on Windows 98,Me,2000 and XP and the results have been most satisfactory on all systems.
| vykyng photo graphic, UK | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Used ReleaseRam with Windows ME for a long time, and found it invaluable. I work as a pro photographer mainly in digital and use large image files. Before RR I was suffering almost constant crashes and out of memory problems even thuogh I had 512Mb Ram! ReleaseRam kept my machine running and let me get on with my work. Fully recommended, first class product. Vykyng
| John Dale, Canada | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | "I have used Release Ram on several computers which were trying to run Windows 2000 and were often giving problems with multiple windows open. Using Release Ram freed up enough memory to be able to run my business more efficiently without spending a great deal more money on upgrading every computer."
| Hans G. A. , denmark | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Release RAM was used with an ASUS P4 socket motherboard with two 1.version programs ( communications!) that was eating RAM at a high rate. Release RAM solved the problem for use as we called it ad it recovered the 'lost' RAM Lately we got never versions of both programs and the RAM problems has been solved. But we keep the RR program - just in case! Hans G. A.
| Eden the Grump, United Kingdom | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | This is a great little programme. I use Windows 98 and was having problems with memory clutter until I found RRam. It runs in my system tray all the time and just does the business - set it and forget it.
| Roseyb, England.UK | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | RELEASE-RAM is greater than sliced bread folks..being one of the "older" generation,I spend a fare amount time in games etc..since getting this program I have not had any problems with the "low memory" pop ups,its well laid out with picture instructions,so is very easy to set up and use..the price is a snip so wont break the bank...and I would recomend it to anyone (infact I tell everyone about it).It will be the best thing you ever installed on your puter...

| Xipe, Netherlands | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | ReleaseRam is a great program. Since I am using it (with Win98SE) my system is really much more stable. It could save you reinstalling Windows a few times..! ;-)
| tonyg, United States | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Back when I had Windows 98 and a mere 4 gigs on the old hard drive, RAM allowed me to keep going for the last year or so before the PC finally got KO'd. I liked the straightforward way the software was configured.
| Val, United States | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I have been very happy with the Ram Release program. It does a good job keeping up with the large graphics programs that I run. Release Ram is an excellent product and I recommend it highly.
| Will, usa | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I use windows xp professional. The nice thing about Release Ram is that little window that tells me how much of my current ram is still available. When the number drops below 350 MB, I know that I have to close my programs and do a reset. If I dont, windows will shortly start behaving erratically and I could potentially lose work in progress. The bad thing about Release Ram is that it tries, but is not completely effective in restoring the full amount of ram that is available when windows first starts up. But I'm waiting for the upgrade to Release Ram that does it! Wilson Quan
''Will, the object of Release RAM is not to free up as much RAM as it can, but to free up enough RAM when you get a bit low to ensure you never run out or never get into the low level/problem zone. You need to aim for a balance as if you try to free up absolutely as much as possible, then you would be freeing up memory which is needed by Windows, only for Windows to then need to load that memory back off the hard disk again. That can in itself cause a little slow down in itself if you are over aggressive at RAM freeups. Generally, Release RAM's default settings has a good balance. - Reply by Shaughn Prestidge''
| Dave, USA | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | I'm a very satisfied user of ReleaseRam on a Windows 98 PC with pentium III. I like to have several memory hogs open at the same time (quicken, outlook, Word, etc) Even though I have 256k ram, the blue screen of death was a frequent visitor until I installed R-Ram. Memory problems are much less frequent now.
| danrcan, Canada | Date Added: Jan-08-2004 | Great little program.. I notice my machine working faster, and, I presume, more efficiently. Thanks danrcan
