I'm using ReleaseRAM under Win98, which is often critical after a long day of work with many oftenly changing applications. BlueScreens or boxes saying "running out of memory" do not happen anymore. ReleaseRAM is time-saving and better than a reboot, to get memory clear. I'm glad to have it.

Excellent program. Have used it on my Win98 Se computer for over a year and cannot say enough good things about the program, and I cannot recommend any improvements. Very helpful in troubleshooting RAM usage of software that I have installed.

ReleaseRam saved my life when I was running Win98. Not sure if my (now total) 480MB of RAM or my upgrade to Win2K made the difference, but I do not seem to need RRam much under the new configuration, except on rare occasions. Again, if you are running Win9x or WinME, it is priceless and indispensable.

I used Release Ram for my Windows 98 machine for over two years. Before I installed it I found that the machine would just not peform for long. (I had 256 MB ram). As a web designer I often had a few programs open (including my bookkeeping software!) and the machine would virtually go on go-slow mode and even freeze completely. Shutting down programs that I was not using would help a bit but I would often have problems even with just ONE program open. The only solution before I was recommended Release RAM by a Newcastle computer company was to reboot two or three times a day. All those problems disappeared once Release RAM was installed.

I couldn't be happier with the performance of Release RAM.I have been using it for more than 2 years now,and regardless of the computer,version of Windows,amount of RAM installed,or speed of the processor,it has constantly performed wonderfully,speeding up the working of the computer,cutting to almost nil any "hang" in the computer's processes. I have used it on systems running Windows98SE, Windows2000, and currently Windows XP. I also installed the trial version on a friend's computer,that although almost new,with a very fast processor,and much RAM,refused to often run.He was having constant problems with his main program completely bringing the computer to a halt.After installing Release RAM,there was a DRASTIC change to performance,with resultant nil "hang" to the program. R-RAM is one of the "MUST HAVE" programs to my computers. First rate Shaughn ! As a post note,I would like to say,that it is important to follow Shaughn's instruction as to how much RAM to target for the release.Targeting the approx one third of the systems RAM brings splendid results,and has ALWAYS left me with more than sufficient RAM for all my requirements.

I'm the happy owner of an old dinosaurus, Pentium 150 MHz / 48 Mb of EDO-RAM... Release RAM allows me to run programs such as MS Office 2002, using several of them at the same time, without experiencing the eternal troubles caused by my dear friend Bill Gate's softwares : no crashes, no freezings. Release RAM is a very useful application. Congratulations to the developer.

The program works great with our OS Windows 2000. We run a business and using the ram release helps when we have several windows open. Everything seems to run smoother since we installed it.

I use Release RAM on my Sony FX170 notebook with 512 Mbytes RAM running Windows ME. Until I started using Release RAM, my PC constantly froze up (I use several memory intensive programs). After installing Release RAM the freeze ups all but disappeared (Photoshop Elements still causes freeze ups, but I think they're caused by a disk swap problem rather than a memory problem). I highly recommend Release RAM.

since i use powerful laptop computer release RAM haven't helped me a lot. But its good to know how much memory needs your computer for certain games.

RR has been one of the most valuable programs I have ever purchased for my system. I run Windows 98se and used to experience frequent crashes when opening large files or programs. Sometimes my system would just tell me that there was not enough memory to open another application while multi-tasking. This has never again occured since I began using RR Last year. Thanks very much for this fantastic program!

It has been sitting on an old Windows ME machine of mine for several years now, and although ME doesn't get much use now, in the past installing Release RAM on ME helped in ME becoming more stable and cutting down system crashes. Release RAM has never caused any problems to my system and is still functioning after all these years.
